The KyPSO uses two instruments:
- The Kentucky In School Transition Survey (KISTS) is conducted during the students’ final year of high school. Its purpose is to collect data about student post school plans. It consists of 3 sections, all of which must be completed. To access the KISTS
- The Kentucky Youth One Year Out (YOYO) is a computer assisted telephone interview conducted with former students one year after high school exit. Its purpose is to collect data about student post school outcomes (to see if your LEA is in this year’s sample click here).
